COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE KURJI

Responding to the emerging health needs of the community is an integral part of the hospital’s mission. Preventive medical/ social / awareness programs are conducted in an ongoing way to enable a participation of the community. The community health and development services provide basic health needs to the marginalized sections of our society e.g. maternal and child health, Ante-natal care, immunization and medical care through our Urban and Rral Health Centers. Other programs include School Health, Non-Formal Education, School HIV/ AIDS Awareness, Self Help Groups, Girl Child Literacy Program.

We cooperate with Government and other institutions for  programs - T.B. (DOT), Leprosy (MDT), VCTC for HIV/AIDS, TBA ( Dai) training. We work with PLWHAs (People living with HIV/AIDS) through Projects funded by CRS and TIDES Foundation.

We networked with similar hospitals/organizations through Catholic Health Association of India, Christian Medical Association of India and Bihar Voluntary Health Association. In our humble endeavor we need your whole hearted cooperation at all times.  You are most welcome to support us with your service and financial help to reach out to more and more vulnerable people in the community.
